How to Cook Jowar Idli Ravva?
Sorghum Rava Idli
- Prepare Batter: Rinse and soak urad dal and fenugreek seeds in water for 4-6 hours. Grind to a smooth batter. Mix with sorghum rava, yogurt, salt, and enough water to form a thick batter. Let it ferment overnight.
- Add Eno: Just before making idlis, add fruit salt to the batter and mix gently.
- Steam Idlis: Grease idli plates with oil. Pour batter into molds and steam for 10-12 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Serve: Let idlis cool slightly. Remove from molds and serve hot with coconut chutney and sambar.
